We use the EI assessment in an educational setting for new police officers to discover their strengths and weaknesses. We have been using tests in our company’s career development efforts. For us, it is very important that our employees are supported in planning a long-term career with us. Although we have a couple of tools that have worked for us when recruiting, we wanted to expand our understanding of employees as we help them build a career with us. We particularly have found the Career Motivators and Intelligence Types tests useful. The former is actually on our intranet site, available to all employees. This has been working very well for us. There are others we use in more complex situations such as identifying whether an expert resource role or management meet not only our needs but those of the employee as well. We have enjoyed our interactions with the staff and consistently find them to be approachable and flexible.

Their customer service is great: responsive, very flexible, reliable, takes our requests into account even if they are not used to such requests. Our requests are scrutinized in a way that when we get a response it indicates that the request has been thought through very carefully. I very much appreciated their listening to our observations and comments on the EQ-i tests and rephrased the long sentences to make the questionnaire easier to our international employees. I would say that they all are a group of experts in their own area and handle our requests in a highly professional manner. I particularly value their style and knowledge - as I find that PsychTests are of the same level and 'culture'. By 'culture' I mean small firm, with knowledgeable, dedicated and highly committed people.
